Ten architectural and interior design firms shared in 12 awards for 2006 from the International Interior Design Association’s Northern California chapter, presented last week at San Francisco’s Masonic Auditorium.
Double wins went to two San Francisco firms, Melander Architects and Gensler. Melander won a Merit award for the offices it designed for a film editing company, and honorable mention for its renovation of Peter Barbur’s 1850s Greenwich Village townhouse.
